Forum Theatre performance on the gender gap in Care.

Zoe and Dora, two millennial sisters, grow up side by side. From childhood to adulthood, they are constantly confronted with the same invisible, unpaid labor: women silently take on the burden of household work, childrearing, and the responsibility of caring for the sick and the elderly. They are the ones who pay the price of “care” with their exhaustion.
Especially in Greece during the years of crisis, the pandemic, and ongoing uncertainty, the pressure to be a “good mother, daughter, wife” reached its limits. The heroines learn the hard way that “there is no right choice.” Within marriage, they sacrifice their personal growth and self-realization; outside the family framework, they face oppressive stereotypes and a hostile environment that shames their choices and desires.
